Unity Wisdom Circle

Meets every Sunday from 8:30 to 9:45 in the back room behind the library/sanctuary. An intimate discussion group covering a wide range of topics, usually centering on personal spiritual practice and experience viewed through the framework of the great traditions. Typically, the group addresses a topic proposed at the beginning of each session by any member of the group who wishes to do so. A Course in Miracles

A Course In Miracles is a compilation of teachings from the beloved Avatar
and "elder brother," Jeshua (Jesus). The information, now in book
form, was channeled from Jesus by Helen Schucman, and assisted by William
Thetford, both Professors of Medical Psychology at Columbia University's College
of Physicians and Surgeons. It took almost 9 years to receive the information,
which sets out to correct some of the misperceptions and misinterpretations
of the teachings of Jesus that have led to many misunderstandings. His teachings
were all about unconditional love, forgiveness and guidance on how to live
a happier, more joyful life. It is a wonderful and practical guide for exploring
one's inner self and learning to discern the difference between the shrill,
fearful and unforgiving voice of the negative aspects of our human ego versus
the gentle and loving voice of our Higher Self... that part of us that is
a part of The One Source, the Source Of All That Is. The teachings show us
how to "Henceforth, hear but the Voice For God ... He will direct your
efforts, telling you exactly what to do, how to direct your mind, and when
to come to Him in silence, asking for His sure and His certain Word."

Ken Wilber Study Group

Meets alternate Mondays 7 to 9 p.m. at Chamisa School in the building nearest the road. All are welcome who have completed the reading assignments.
